Trublue kennel have been breeding since 1992 and is Australia's best known kennel.
Our bandogs are to be found not only in all Australian states but many other countries as well, we (and now Southern Cross) are the only kennel to export Bandogs on a regular basis.
There are no banned breeds in our Trublue Bandogs and they may go to any shire I know of in Australia, and to any country that will allow the importation of cross bred dogs.
Our Trublue Bandogs have been evolving over since the very early 90's and by now are mostly of Neapolitan Mastiff extraction, other breeds are still used but the percentage is low, as low as 10% in some dogs, and never more than 25%, the gene pool will never be locked on these dogs as it is in pure breeds, thus no bottle necks due to inbreeding and closed gene pools will occur as it all too often does in pure bred dogs, there will be no inbreeding depression, leading to small litters and lower immune systems, and a higher frequency of genetic faults either.
Please read and understand this if you read nothing else, crossing breeds DOES NOT eliminate GENETIC FAULTS. it does create 'hybrid' vigour, this means a better growth rate, and often very noticeable improvement in general health, probably due to improved immunity which in turn is most likely due to more genetic diversity than is found in tired old gene pools, that very diversity also means that the genetic problems that have plagued the mother breeds will present far less often, IF CARE IS TAKEN IN CHOOSING BREEDING STOCK, it is not a 'given', and just because two breeds have been crossed does NOT mean automatic elimination of genetic faults, it never will, there are just too many variables to ever hope to breed that 100% healthy type, or breed of dog, but to at least ensure a good gene pool as large as you can keep it is a great start, sure, dogs will not all look like peas in a pod, they will vary in looks and even in size, in many cases temperament will vary greatly as well, IN TRUBLUES IT WILL NOT VARY MUCH AT ALL this is due to years of selecting for temperament in our breeding stock, it is the one thing we do not make exception for, it must be stable and must be protective, if not it is culled, end of.
We try to keep track of our dog's health by offering a very good guarantee to encourage owners to keep us informed of any problems, to this end we must demand proof of claimed conditions, I used not to always do this until I found out that false claims had been made, I do not mind someone getting under my neck for a pup, but they also gave me a false indication of the health of pups from those lines, this is unforgivable, and I have had to tighten up thanks to a very few.
